Scientific Name Sylvia atricapilla gularis
Description Breeds in shady woods with dense shrubby vegetation, in parks and gardens with luxuriant shrubs. Nests at the base of shrubs. Upper parts brownish-grey to the tail; throat and breast greyish-white and belly white; legs black; beak black, short and fine. Female and male individuals are distinguishable by the colour of the cap: black in the male and rusty-brown in the female.
