*  Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds (SPEA)
SPEA organizes volunteer activities related to the protection of the  Azores Bullfinch and its habitat, the laurel forest, as well as the peatlands of Planalto dos Graminhais.

Volunteers can participate in various activities:
 • Collaborate in the  recovery of the native forest
 • Support work of monitoring the Azores Bullfinch and its habitat
 • Support the activities of the Priolo Environmental Centre


There are volunteer activities, organized throughout the year, but there is also the possibility of collaborating for a certain period of time, depending on the availability of our experts.
