Regional Government opens applications for creativity support programme “Põe-te em Cena”
The Regional Assistant Secretary of the Presidency for Parliamentary Affairs announced today the opening of the application period for the creativity support programme “Põe-te em Cena” (Get into Scene).
"This is a programme that values the creativity and initiative of Azorean youth, supporting initiatives and projects that may bring added value for young people at a cultural, educational, social and local level," said Berto Messias.
According to the Regional Secretary, this is "another tool that embodies the partnership that the Azorean Government has developed with young people and youth organisations." Therefore, he called for the participation of young people, urging them "to submit applications, to innovate, to be bold and do new things that make a difference. "
Berto Messias pointed out that the "Põe-te em Cena" programme is developed in "three actions that provide three types of differentiated support. Action I consists in the allocation of financial support to projects, while Action II allows young people to have access to goods and cultural equipment. In turn, Action III provides technical support to audiovisual and multimedia projects."
This programme is an initiative of the Government of the Azores that aims to support projects developed by young people, informal youth groups or non-profit organisations that develop activities for young people in which they participate in the design and play key roles in the development of their initiative, entrepreneurial and creativity skills.
The second phase of applications for "Action I" of "Põe-te em Cena" takes place during the month of June.
