Azorean Government launches support site for the scientific community associated with SRECC portal
The new support site to support the regional scientific community has already been made available by the Regional Government of the Azores on its portal at the following address: http://www.azores.gov.pt/gra/ciencia_azores.
This site provides information on the Azores Scientific and Technological System (SCTA), the respective Financial Incentive Programme (PRO-SCIENTIA) as well as the regulations and status on the scientific research grants in force in the Region.
SCTA users may also access the IDIA-SG platform (Azores Research, Development, Innovation - Management System), view the ongoing applications and projects, fill in online forms and submit reports.
The new sites also provides access to electronic forms in Portuguese and English for obtaining permission to access natural resources for scientific purposes and the subsequent issuance of a Certificate of Prior Informed Consent (CCPI).
In order to promote scientific culture and disseminate information on research activities in the Azores, the site also includes several links to the portal of the Azores Science Centres Network, regional Research Centres, Regional Science Fund as well as to other on internet projects in which the Regional Government is involved.
The logo of the new site is inspired on DNA and symbolises Science and its interrelationship with the main institutional partners: the University, the Government, companies and society.
