Next month, the Government of the Azores will be disseminating the creation of the Azores Regional Commission for Equality at Labour and Employment (CRITE-A) across the archipelago.
The dissemination sessions promoted by the Regional Secretariat for Labour and Social Solidarity, through the Regional Directorate for Solidarity and Social Security and CRITE-A, will start on Graciosa on November 2, followed by Terceira on November 3, and Flores and Corvo on November 8.
The initiative is scheduled for São Jorge on November 14 and for the islands of Pico and Faial on November 15 and 16, respectively. In turn, these dissemination sessions will take place on the island of Santa Maria on November 28 and on the island of São Miguel on November 29.
The events are addressed at the public in general, especially at workers and employers.
Established by the Regional Legislative Decree no. 3/2011/A of March 3, the CRIT-A aims to promote equality and non-discrimination between men and women in labour, employment and vocational training; the protection of motherhood and fatherhood, and the reconciliation between work and family life.
