The Regional Secretariat for Labour and Social Solidarity allocated today another package of support for the area of housing in a total amount of 250 thousand Euros. These measures will benefit 14 Azorean families.
Granted under the programme to support the renewal of degraded housing, the new package of support aims to provide families with better housing conditions.
The Regional Secretary for Labour and Social Solidarity presided over the signing of the orders for the allocation of support to the renewal of degraded housing. She also urged families to resort to small construction companies, which employ local workers, and make a good use of the allocated subsidies since it is "the money of all taxpayers."
In this context, Ana Paula Marques recalled that when they are resorting to the services of small construction companies based in villages, this is also a way of fighting underground economy.
"These support measures contribute to the improvement of the quality of life," said Ana Paula Marques, who also took the occasion to leave of message of hope and recall several measures undertaken by the Regional Government in the area of housing.
