Government of the Azores promotes improvement in drainage system of Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande Branch Road
The Government of the Azores will invest about 44 thousand Euros in the improving of the drainage systems of Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande Branch Road on S. Miguel Island.
This intervention is intended to put an end to the flooding problems on Ribeira Grande Regional Road, since this work includes the construction of a flow retention basin as well as the collection and diversion of rainwater to the existing water line near the junction to the hamlet of Gramas.
The work, which is expected to have a completion period of 45 days, will start in April and will be carried out by the company Tachinha e Filhos, SA.
This contract works is included in a series of interventions the Regional Government has undertaken to improve and ensure the proper operator of the Region's drainage systems
