Government of the Azores promotes information sessions on career and training opportunities at European institutions
The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Directorate for Employment and Vocational Training, promotes information session on career opportunities at European institutions on March 5 and 6. This initiative is organised in partnership with the University of the Azores and the Jacques Delors European Information Centre.
The sessions, open to the public, will take place Thursday, March 5, at auditorium C of the University of the Azores in Ponta Delgada and on the following day, March 6, at the auditorium of Angra do Heroísmo campus in Pico da Urze.
The initiative is primarily intended to promote the participation of Portuguese applicants in European and other international applications, which could be an opportunity for youngsters to develop an international career.
Moreover, it aims to inform and prepare applicants for the various stages of recruitment, complementing the information provided in the websites http://www.carreirasinternacionais.eu/ and http://www.trabalharnauniaoeuropeia.eu/.
These sessions will also disseminate the scholarship programme "Estagiar UE," an initiative that was recently created by the Regional Government with the purpose of fostering and supporting the participation of youngsters in traineeships at European institutions, with a maximum duration of six months.
