The President of the Government will be awarded the Leadership Prize in Washington this Saturday. This prize will be awarded by PALCUS, a U.S. organisation dedicated to defending the interests of the Portuguese Community residing in the United States of America.
The prize will be delivered to Vasco Cordeiro at the Gala annually held by the Portuguese-American Leadership Council of the United States (PALCUS). The award recognises the efforts undertaken to foster the relations between the Azores and the Azorean communities spread throughout the world, thus contributing to the dissemination of Portugal in its Atlantic dimension.
