"Water and Waste in the Azores - New Challenges" under debate at the 2nd ERSARA Technical Seminar
The Entity for the Regulation of Water and Waste Services (ERSARA) promotes the second edition of a technical seminar on the theme "Water and Waste in the Azores - New Challenges" to take place at João José da Graça Public Library and Regional Archives in Horta on May 3.
After a first edition in 2010, it is important to reflect on the evolution registered in public water supply and waste management as well as to discuss the future of these essential sectors to the well-being and public health of populations.
This seminar is targeted at all professionals in the sector, particularly the management entities of public water supply systems, waste management operator and entities managing specific waste streams and Laboratories. Registration is free and must be done at ERSARA until April 26.
Several experts will participate in this initiatives, including representatives from the Regional Secretary for the Environment and the Sea, the Entity for the Regulation of Water and Waste Services, the Dr. Ricardo Jorge National Health Institute and Valor Ambiente, S.A.
