The application period for the incentive programme for social entrepreneurship "Youth +" opens on November 1 and ends on December 31, 2015.
The programme is promoted by Regional Government, through the Regional Directorate for Youth. It aims to promote the development of projects in order to identify, support, train, promote and relate initiatives with high potential of social entrepreneurship and promote experiences of internationalisation by engaging in partnerships and networking.
Projects applying for the programme, which is aimed at young people between 12 and 30 years, must have a minimum duration of 12 months in order to be eligible.
The priority areas of "Youth +" programme are as follows: preventing early school dropout, individually or jointly, promoting the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and youth volunteering, encouraging entrepreneurship employability of young people, enhancing the employability of young people, and developing partnerships and networking in international projects.
Young social entrepreneurship is the process of finding and implementing innovative and sustainable social solutions, which are reflected in the creation and development of alternative and more efficient social responses for youth in areas as diverse as environment and sustainability, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion, among many others.
