The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Carlos Machado Museum, promotes the Creative Week at the Museum project from August 4-7 between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. The initiative will focus on the concept of art as an essential and unlimited vehicle that gives shape to ideas, feelings and opinions, through the use of several artistic languages.

Based on the exhibition "Nature in Dialogue" and "Canto da Maya," participants, aged 13 to 23 years, will be encouraged to develop a project that reconciles visual arts, performing and videographic arts.

The works will be guided by visual artists Isabel Melo and Nina Medeiros, who will address the following themes: Genesis and Nature, Metamorphosis, Nature and Colour, Nature and Matter and Nature, Body and Movement.

The works created in the context of this initiative will be on display at the Santa Bárbara Museum Centre of Carlos Machado Museum from August 7 to 23.
