The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Angra do Heroísmo, promotes the opening of the exhibition "Dinosaurs of the MAH at Angra do Heroísmo Science Centre" on Saturday, June 17, at 3 PM.
This exhibition is made up of replicas of fossils from various dinosaur species belonging to Terceira museum that will be the ambassadors of Angra do Heroísmo Museum and will introduce basic concepts of palaeontology.
At the time of the opening, there will be a guided tour, followed by the workshop "I saw a Dino" in which children are invited to say what they know about dinosaurs and, starting from a close observation of the fossils on display, they will identify some of their characteristics and habits. Afterwards, at the workshop, they will create props in order to recreate some of the most popular specimens of these terrible lizards in an imaginative and fun way that will allow children to become their favourite dinosaurs.

This exhibition, open until December 28, is organised by the Angra do Heroísmo Museum and the Angra do Heroísmo Science Centre with the collaboration of Susiarte/Expert Group.
