“Azores Digital Company Distinction 2020” registered more than seventy applications
The third edition of the “Azores Digital Company Distinction,” whose application period ended on February 28, registered a total of 71 applications submitted.
shows the continuous adherence of Azorean companies to the digital economy, seeing that, besides the number of applications registered this year, there has also been a continuous increase in the number of registrations on the Empresasadigitalacores.pt platform.
The more than 320 companies registered on this platform are now part of the Digital Azores Company Network. They may apply for various measures aimed at supporting digital transformation and capability building in this area, such as the “Azores Digital SME Voucher,” the “Azores Export Voucher” and the “Azores Digital Company Distinction.”
The "Azores Digital Company Distinction" aims to recognise companies that demonstrate compliance with a set of good practices in the use of digital technologies. These companies are awarded a digital seal in the gold, silver or bronze categories, which can be used in their communication channels, thus helping them to promote their digital skills and differentiation in the global market.
Promoted by the Vice-Presidency of the Government, through SDEA - Society for Business Development of the Azores, this initiative is primarily intended to increase the number of Azorean companies in the digital economy.
