Regional Government extends measures to support employment and income of Azoreans
The Regional Government, through the Vice-Presidency, has determined the extension of the implementation period of projects developed under the Inovar, EPIC, Reativar+ and Prosa measures, whose regulations have already been published in the Official Journal. This measure is aimed at increasing the support for employment and income of the Azoreans in order to minimise the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the Region.
Similarly to the changes introduced to the Estagiar L and Estagiar T traineeships, extending the traineeships that began in October 2018 and January 2019 for another nine months, the Regional Government has also decided to extend for a period of nine months, including a month of rest, the internships taking place under the Inovar measure that have reached their maximum duration period. This is a programme aimed at the professional integration of young people in a real work context to promote their employability.
These changes ensure that the previously stipulated regulatory conditions are maintained.
In the case of EPIC - Professional Internships for Continuous Integration, a measure designed to complement and improve the social and professional skills of the beneficiaries of socio-professional integration programmes, promoting their recruitment and integration, the internship period will be extended for another three months.
In regard to Reativar+, a programme aimed at complementing and improving the trainees' socio-professional skills, promoting their recruitment and integration into the labour market, the internship period will be extended for another four months, including a month of rest.
As for Prosa - Adult Social Occupation Programme, a measure intended to promote the socio-professional reintegration of unemployed people with employability difficulties, focusing on the combat to poverty and social exclusion, the applications in progress are immediately extended for a period of another six months, maintaining the previously stipulated regulatory conditions.
The implementation of these measures aims to improve the fundamental conditions to support the employment and employability of the Azoreans.
