The Ethnographic Museum of Nordeste was inaugurated in 1989 as part of the commemorations of the 475th anniversary of the Municipality. It features traditional agricultural life objects, a traditional  kitchen, with ceramic dishes employed in the "nordestense table", pottery of Vila Franca do Campo, ceramic from Lagoa, traditional costumes, loom and linen work, old tiles and a reserved section for sacred art.
