Previous actions
|
The accession process began in 2009 with the realization of prior training and meetings regarding the possibility of implementation of the methodology of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in the territory. In September 2010 the workshop "Business Opportunities around Protected Areas" which featured the presentation of several examples of successful joint conservation efforts, as well as an increased quality of life for local people including a territory within the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (La Gomera - Canary) was convened.
