The Regional Directorate for Youth in partnership with Terceira Academy of Youth and Arts, Teatro Micalense and Resart - Institute of Creativity, Arts and New Technologies will promote a training course on Event Production to take place on the islands of São Miguel and Terceira.

The initiative will take place at the Terceira Academy of Youth and Arts in Praia da Vitória from September 19-21 and Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada from September 22-27.

The project falls within the training plan developed by the Terceira Academy of Youth and Arts. The 20-hour course is addressed at all professionals and students who are interested in the area of event and show production.

The event aims to provide participants with the knowledge and basic skills in event and show production. Moreover, it is also intended to promote the autonomy of participants in this area so that they may be able to organise small-scale events and take part in the organisation of major events.

The course will be taught by Alexandre Cortez Pinto. He is a programmer at Musicbox Club and took part in the artistic team and cultural programming team at the company Playground. He is also in charge of the production and creation of cultural products and is a founding member and bassist of the band Rádio Macau.
