“Books with Music” in October in the Angra do Heroísmo Public Library and Regional Archive
“Books with Music” is what the Angra do Heroísmo Public Library and Regional Archive intends to offer to its users, in the Wednesdays afternoons, during October.
The four sessions planned till the end of the month will be dedicated to Jazz and Blues (the 8th), Classic and Contemporary Music (the 15th), music of several epochs (the 22nd) and Classic Music (the 29th).
In these performances, which will have place at 15 o’clock, there will be implicated the musicians João José Silva (violin), Paulo Borges (trumpet), Francisco Rocha (piano), Elena Kharambura (violin), Ostap Kharambura (viola), Orest Gritsiouk (cello), José António Sousa (classic guitar) and Grigory Grissiouk (piano).
Already on the 1st of October, the Angra do Heroísmo Public Library and Regional Archive celebrated the World Music Day with the presentation of the catalog of the Tomás Borba documentary fund, in digital edition, which is now available in www.bparah.azores.gov.pt.
In the opportunity, it also had place the absolute first night (at world level) of the Tres Soledades quartet, of a Catalan composer Carles Valls i Pons, whose 3rd progress is equally available in the same website (button “News”).
This is the third year in which the Angra do Heroísmo Public Library and Regional Archive carries out this initiative, which is gathering next to the public remarkable success.
