This space is intended to be a means of disseminating the activities developed by the Government of the Azores, accessible to every citizen. It is a fast and useful link between the Government and the Azorean people that also contributes to overcoming the geographical barriers of our archipelago.
 
The internet site of the Government of the Azores falls within the strategy designed to place information and communication technologies at the service of citizens, providing not only specific contents on the activities developed by the Government, but also useful information on various subjects.
 
However, this portal will only fulfil its mission if it becomes an interactive platform and not just a virtual space of the Government. It should be a channel between the Regional Administration and its recipients, from the Azoreans residing in the archipelago to the thousands of Azoreans living in the diaspora communities, without forgetting all those who, not being Azorean-born, have adopted our Region as their own.
