Palaces of the Presidency

The Coordination of the Palaces is the entity in charge of the management and conservation of the Sant’Ana Palace, the Conceição Palace and the Capitães-Generais Palace, ensuring the protection and enhancement of the Historical Heritage of the Palaces of the Presidency.
 
Pursuing the goal of opening the Palaces to the public and disseminating the classified Historical Movable and Building Heritage of the Presidency, the Coordination of the Palaces promotes guided tours to the Sant’Ana Palace and the Capitães-Generais Palace for school groups, social and cultural institutions, researchers or private groups.

The Palaces of the Presidency are centuries-old buildings of high heritage value. Visiting these palaces allows visitors to become acquainted with the historical environment of these buildings as well as with the collections of furniture, paintings, sculptures and decorative arts that value them.
