The President of the Government will receive Friday the social partners and the political parties in order to prepare the Plan and Budget proposals for 2016, which will submitted to the Legislative Assembly in early November.

On the morning of September 11, Vasco Cordeiro receives at Santana Palace in Ponta Delgada several social partners, including CGTP/Açores, UGT/Açores, the Azores Fisheries Federation, the Azores Agricultural Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores.

The afternoon will be reserved for hearings with political parties. As usual, all the political parties that hold a set at the legislative Assembly have been invited to this round of meetings.

There are scheduled hearings with the representatives of PCP, BE, CDS / PP, PS and PSD; PPM refused to take part in these meetings.

Later this month, the Regional Strategic Concertation Council will meet in order to analyse the proposals for Plan and Budget of the Autonomous Region of the Azores for 2016, followed by their approval by the Council of the Government.

After the approval, the Regional Government will submit its proposals to the Legislative Assembly for debate and voting at the plenary session.
