The President of the Government sent a message of condolences to the President of the Regional Council of Île-de-France, expressing his "deep regret" for the terrorist attacks that hit the city of Paris last Friday.
"It was with great dismay that we received the news of the terrorist attack in the city of Paris last Friday, which are a serious attack on freedom and tolerance in France and in Europe," noted Vasco Cordeiro.
In the message sent to Jean-Paul Huchon, Vasco Cordeiro also expressed, on behalf of the Government and the Azorean people, his "solidarity towards the Parisian population hit by a despicable act that deserves the strongest condemnation of all those who strive for the values of freedom."
