Vasco Cordeiro stresses importance of some FLAD projects for the development of the Azores
The President of the Government, Vasco Cordeiro, stated that the Regional Government is "very interested" in the work developed by the Luso-American Foundation for Development (FLAD), stressing the importance of some projects to the Azores.
"There might be a lot of potential in this work as well as in the areas where FLAD is involved, especially when the outcome of these projects may contribute to the development of the Region and the opening of new areas in the field of Science and Technology," said Vasco Cordeiro, who spoke at the end of an audience with the Chairman of FLAD, Vasco Rato.
The President of the Government stressed that his Government "follows the work developed by FLAD with great interest, especially the projects that concern the Azores in various aspects."
Vasco Cordeiro also considered highlighted the interest demonstrated by FLAD in sharing with the Regional Government "the current status of the projects being developed: those that will be launched and those already implemented."
