The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Forestry, through the Regional Directorate for Forest Resources, has launched a public tender for the repaving, in bituminous concrete, of the Ladeira de Nossa Senhora - Assopre rural road, Terceira Island, with a base price of around 115 thousand Euros.

The public tender for this investment in the parish of Agualva, municipality of Praia da Vitória, was published today in the Official Journal.

The intervention covers an extension of about 1,190 metres. It will benefit more than four dozen farms in an area of about 62 hectares of hectares of privately-owned pastures and gives access to about 41 hectares of forest area located within Terceira Forest Perimeter.

In the current legislative period, the Regional Government will invest more than 2.3 million Euros in agricultural infrastructures on the island of Terceira.
