The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Forestry assured today that the Beneficiary Portal, available at the electronic address http://beneficiario-agricola.azores.gov.pt, provides updated and reliable information to farmers in Azores despite some delays that may occur in the update of some data.
Created in 2011 by the then Regional Directorate for Community Agricultural Affairs, the Beneficiary Portal provides information on payments, spending limits on agricultural diesel, vocational training and animals, among other elements.
Over the years, the Government has managed to improve the level of information available through access to local and third-party databases, including the Financing Institute for Agriculture and Fisheries (IFAP), as well as to improve the level of interaction with the farmers in order to collect information necessary for the processing of aid.
All steps taken over the years have always been based on the assurance that the available information is reliable and the protection of farmers' personal data.
