The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and the Environment, has opened today new periods for submission of applications to the measures and sub-measures under the Rural Development Programme - PRORURAL +.
Beneficiaries may apply until August 31 to the support measures created under this programme, namely the incentive measure "Transfer of knowledge and information actions" and the sub-measure "Short-term exchanges in agricultural and forestry management, visits to farms and forests."
During the same period, there are ongoing applications for the measure "Quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs," and the sub-measures "Support to new investments in quality schemes" and "Support to information and promotional activities carried out by producers' groups in the domestic market."
Moreover, there is also an ongoing application period for the incentives under the measure "Creation of Producers' Groups and Organisations."
Those who are interested may submit, until September 30, applications to the support measure "Investments in Physical Assets," the sub-measure "Restoring the potential of agricultural production affected by natural disasters and catastrophic events and introduction of appropriate prevention measures," and the sub-measure for "Preventive actions."
Farmers may also submit applications to the support sub-measure "Installation of Young Farmers."
Applications to the measure "Investments in the development of forest areas and enhancement of viability of forests" and the sub-measures "Forestation and creation of woodlands" and "Creation and Maintenance of Agri-forestry Systems."
The application requests are submitted through the electronic submission of the forms available on PRORURAL + portal at http://gestpdr.azores.gov.pt. Authentication is made using an identification code assigned for this purpose.
