The Regional Government has conducted a survey on the effects of adverse weather conditions that occurred from December 2013 to February 2014 in support infrastructures to animal husbandry activities and agricultural crops.

Following this survey, the Regional Secretariat for Natural Resources will allocate additional support to recover the full potential of agricultural production.

An Ordinance published in the Official Journal on Friday stipulates that the financial support will be awarded in the form of a non-repayable subsidy. It will cover the damages related to crop losses in horticulture, floriculture and fruit production as well as those caused by the destruction of infrastructures and equipments in the agricultural and animal husbandry production system.

In this context, the costs related to reconstruction of infrastructures, replacement and repair of damaged machinery and equipments, and the recovery of the full production potential are eligible expenses under these support measures.
