The Azores Youth Council will meet on March 2 at 3 PM.

This meeting, which will be held at the Ponta Delgada Tourism and Hotel School, will focus on the debate of Youth Employment. The event will be attended by the President of the Azorean Government, Carlos César.

According to the statute that established the youth council, the advisory body is responsible for supporting the definition and implementation of youth policies, coordinating sectoral youth policies; it  is also a forum for discussion and coordination between the Government and the civil society.

The Azores Youth Council is made up by several civil society entities, such as youth associations, young farmers, young businesspeople, youth political parties, unions' representatives, NGOs working in the area of addictions higher education student associations and the Association of Municipalities.
