The month of December was chosen by over two thousand students from regional schools, who are participating in the third edition of the project "Entrepreneurial Education: the path to success," to take part in the activity "Entrepreneur for a day." With this initiative, students have the possibility of presenting several business opportunities to the community.
This project, which covers more than 40 schools throughout the archipelago, aims to provide students with the opportunity of "becoming entrepreneurs for a day."
Hence, young entrepreneurs can experience "all stages of business creation, from its inception to its implementation."
The Regional Directorate for Youth, who is responsible for coordinating this initiative, intends that "students put into practice the knowledge acquired at school and use their entrepreneurial skills in creating and developing a business."
This project, based on a learning-by-doing method, involves the participation of 85 teachers from different teaching levels.
