The Urban Art Festival “Walk&Talk&Talk” will start at the Academy of Art of the Azores next Saturday, July 30.

This initiative is promoted by the Walk &Talk Cultural Interpretation Association and supported by the Government of the Azores, through the Regional Directorate for Youth and the Regional Directorate for Tourism.

The “Walk&Talk Azores” Festival is the first urban art festival in the Azores and takes place in Ponta Delgada from July 30 to August 14, counting on the participation of 30 Portuguese and foreign artists. This initiative aims to reflect on the dichotomy of public spaces, challenging artists to contribute to the transformation of Ponta Delgada into an outdoor museum.

Mobilisation and contribution are, according to the organization of the project, the goals of t “Walk&Talk Azores.” The festival is also intended to position the Azores as a multidisciplinary and contemporary cultural stage of reference.
