Interjovem Card enhanced with important and new business partnerships, announces Pilar Damião
The 2014 Interjovem Card was reinforced with two new partnerships that will benefit the young holders of this card, announced the Regional Director for Youth today in Ponta Delgada.
Pilar Damião stressed the importance of new partners and announced that new partnership with JH Ornelas will allow a discount of 2.5 cents per litre in the petrol stations operated by this company.
With regard to the benefits from the new partnership with Zon-Açores, the Regional Director revealed that they will be presented in September. This period "is designated as the second phase of Interjovem Card, which will end in April 2015."
Pilar Damião also emphasised that this year the card provides a wide array of benefits for youngsters.
"SATA will promote a series of exclusive campaigns for the holders of the Interjovem Card and members of SATA Imagine. In turn, BES - Açores will provide special conditions in the acquisition of the card, which can range from 10% off on the card to a free Interjovem Card," explained the government official.
The Interjovem card will maintain a cost of 48 Euros for the year 2014/2015 and will count on more than 200 commercial, tourist and cultural partners.
Addressed at youngsters aged between 13 and 30 years, the Interjovem Card "continues to provide discounts of 50% on inter-island fights and 20% on flights to Europe, with the possibility of previous booking. In addition, maritime travels will continue to cost 7.5 Euros," emphasised Pilar Damião.
The Regional Director Youth also revealed that Azorean youngsters may now have access to the conditions and news on Interjovem Card from a mobile application.
"We believe in the potentialities of this card which has increased the freedom and mobility of Azorean youngsters and provided them with more experiences and more tools for their empowerment," said the Regional Director for Youth.
