The Regional Directorate for Youth organises in partnership with the National Agency for the management of the "Youth in Action" Programme a training route from September 30 to October 7 on the islands of Terceira, Faial and Pico.

The route will be held on the island of Terceira on September 30 and October 1, Faial on October 2 and Pico on October 4 and 7. This initiative aims to disseminate the "Youth in Action" programme as a useful working tool for youngsters, association leaders and youth animators.

Understanding the "Youth in Action" programme as an opportunity to the development of associations and their participants, creating the conditions for the development of good projects on the various possibilities of the programme and promoting exchange and mobility within Europe are other goals of this training route.

This initiative was also developed with the purpose of encouraging participation and debate of themes of interest to youngsters, enhancing a multiplier effect with similar entities and other potential partners, promoting the exchange of experiences and expertise between professionals working in youth-related areas, increasing the numbers of youngsters covered by sub-actions and informing participants about the future  Community programme - 2014/2020.

Moreover, each session will address the programmes developed by the Regional Directorate for Youth.
