The Regional Directorate for Youth, in partnership with Terceira Youth and Arts Academy and the Restart-Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology, promotes a workshop on "Creating Music for films."

Being part of the training plan in the areas of innovation and new technologies for 2013, this initiative will be carried out at the Terceira Youth and Arts Academy from October 14 to 19 and at the premises of the Regional Directorate for Youth on São Miguel Island between October 21 and 26.
 
The project is targeted at an audience that includes students, early-career musicians and even "non-experts" who wish to gain knowledge on the creation of soundtracks for films.

This workshop will be conducted by conducted by Francisco Rebelo and it is intended to provide trainees with the basic skills and the capacity to apply some musical and sound techniques to create a soundtrack for a film.
