The Regional Directorate for Communities will promote various “Work Meetings” on all Azores islands from November 18 and 29 with the purpose of better serving the target population of this Governmental Department (Emigrants, Returned Emigrants and Immigrants) and enhancing the available resources.
With this initiative, the Regional Directorate for Communities aims to disseminate its intervention areas among the invited entities as well as to analyse the development possibilities and the support to joint projects in order to improve the migrants’ quality of life.
“The Work Meetings” start on November 18 on the island of São Miguel at 4 PM (Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory); November 19 on Santa Maria at 4 PM (Dalberto Environmental Interpretation Centre); November 22 at 6:30 PM (Main Hall of the Angra do Heroísmo City Hall); November 23 on São Jorge at 6 PM (Santa Casa da Misericórdia das Velas); November 25 on Faial and Pico at 3 PM (Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries); November 27 on Flores and Corvo at 2 PM (Santa Cruz Town Hall) and on November 29 on Graciosa at 6 PM (Auditorium of the Cultural Centre).
