Return to me all the silences
return to me all the silences of the face.
the gasping song of sleep, the unawaken mornings.
return everything to me.
i could talk to you of the lava where you rested and of the humid afternoons
of skin in the waters.
the bodies growing in the veil of the waves.
return to me all the silences, the sad pause of the hand on
the night.
the fugacity of the eyes upon the field.
i could talk to you of the peace of an island and of the arms upon the
happiness of the dunes, the twilight advancing upon the fortress wall.
