The Regional Department for the Communities signed several cooperation protocols with some Casas dos Açores.

These protocols aim the strengthening of the bonds between the emigrants and their homeland, the maintenance and divulgation of the Azorean cultural and social aid values in the communities.

The protocols were celebrated between the Regional Department for the Communities and the following Casas dos Açores:

-        Casa dos Açores from Santa Catarina Island, on November 1, 2003;

-        Casa dos Açores from the State of Rio Grande do Sul, on October 31, 2003;

-        Casa dos Açores from Quebec, on May 22, 1998;

-        Casa dos Açores from New England, on February 20, 1998;

-        Casa dos Açores do Norte, on February 10, 1998;

-        Casa dos Açores from Algarve, on February 10, 1998;

-        Casa dos Açores from Lisbon, on February 10, 1998.
