The Regional Government, in a joint organisation with the European Commission and the National Government, promotes a training course on State Aid in Ponta Delgada on October 29.
 
The initiative is directed to the regional administration staff. It will address the concept of State Aid, regional aid and the General Block Exemption Regulation, focusing on Outermost Regions.
 
The training will be attended by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Competition, the Portuguese Permanent Representation to the European Union, the Directorate General for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of the Azores, through the Regional Directorate for European Affairs.
 
This initiative is carried out at the request of the Regional Government in the context of the European Commission's training plan on State aid and, taking into account the interest in European themes and in this particular matter for the Azores.
 
Those interested in participating in training, which takes place at the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory from 9 AM to 5 PM, must register until Thursday, October 25, at the email [email protected].
