Government joins "9 islands for equality” march

The Government of the Azores joins the "9 islands for equality" march to take place in Ponta Delgada on Saturday. This initiative is part of the celebrations of the International Day of People with Disabilities.

The Regional Secretary for the Economy, Vasco Cordeiro, will attend the start of this march through the main streets of Ponta Delgada on behalf of the President of the Government. The event is scheduled for 3 PM by the Sant'Ana Palace.

The "9 islands for equality" march is an organisation promoted by the Azores Association of Parents and Friends of Disabled Children.
