The Agency for the Promotion of Investment in the Azores (APIA) has developed several initiatives to disseminate the investment opportunities in the Region during the “Feria de Muestras de A Coruña” – 17th Edition of the Autonomous Community of Galicia – FEMAGA 2010, which ended on Wednesday at ExpoCoruña in Galicia, Spain.
With an intense and diversified activity programme, the Fair is showcase of products and services for companies and a meeting point for professional from different economic sectors, which encompasses various specialised rooms, particularly in the areas of Tourism, New Technologies, Handicrafts, Furniture, Outlet and Cuisine as well as a range of parallel activities (technical seminars, cooking contests and fashion shows), being an additional attraction for visitors.
The fair’s programme included a day dedicated to the Azores with a taste of typical products from the islands of Pico and Faial.
Taking into account the presence of various entities and companies at the event and the privileged context of the Azorean participation at the Fair, APIA organised various meetings with potential investors in order to promote the economic potentialities of the Azores and create local synergies to attract strategic investment.
