Lomelino Manuel Sousa Pinheiro

Lomelino Manuel Sousa Pinheiro was born on the island of Faial on June 12, 1968.
He holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
Since June 2011, he has been the Regional Tourism Inspector.
He served as Director of the Tourism Inspectorate from August 2009 to June 2011.
In March 1999, he began his duties as head of Faial Island Services of the Regional Secretariat for the Economy. Between June 2006 and August 2009, he was the Coordinator of the same Island Services. In this context, he was responsible for managing the Investor's Office under the Economic Operational Programme as well as for Faial Entrepreneurial Office.
In March 2001, he was appointed member of the Commission that proposed the granting of the aid established by Resolution 19/99 of February 18 - Aid granted to economic agents affected by the earthquake of July 9, 1998.
He has held the position of senior technician at the Regional Directorate for Tourism since February 1995.
From April 17, 1994 until February 1996, he was a trainee lawyer.
He has completed training in several areas, having participated in seminars, colloquia and conferences in the areas of Public Administration, Tourism and Entrepreneurship.
