The Angra do Heroísmo Museum promotes a children's workshop in which the origin of traditions such as the nativity scene, the Christmas tree, the "bolo rei" (king cake) and the gifts in the shoe will be explained to children. The activity will take on December 20 between 2 PM and 5 PM and will feature stories, games and treasure hunts.
In the afternoon, there will also be a snack time with biscuits that will be made by younger participants and an art session. The Angra do Heroísmo Museum marks the Christmas season with this initiative.
Participation in the activity, which is addressed at children from five years, is free and limited to a maximum of 20 participants, but requires prior registration. It can be made by the telephone number 295 240 800 or at the email [email protected].
The set of games and stories included in this initiative is also open to schools, kindergartens, Free Time Occupation Centres or other groups until January 6 by previous appointment.
