The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Arquipélago - Contemporary Arts Centre on São Miguel, joins the Black Sand Box in the creation of a skate ramp - FunBox that will open to the community on Saturday, March 18, at 3 PM.
The FunBox project aims to create a mini half pipe, which will be located on the outdoor patio of the Contemporary Arts Centre.
The opening of this ramp to the public in general featured several participants in a collective session that included artist André Laranjinha and João Alves, from Black Sand Box.
The Educational Service of the Contemporary Arts Centre promotes the "Fun Stikers" activity on the same day. It aims to combine art, in this case graffiti, with the universe of those who practice sports in an urban environment in an individual creation of stickers.
Designer Ivan Ferreira will be the guest of this workshop, an initiative directed to audiences over six years.
The initiative starts at 2 PM; admission is free.
The Regional Directorate for Culture informs that this and other events are available for consultation at the Cultural Agenda of the CulturAçores Portal at the address www.culturacores.azores.gov.pt
