The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Secretariat for Education and Culture, promotes two concerts on the first weekend dedicated to chamber music under the Artistic Season 2016.
 
On Friday, June 17, the Romantic Trio featuring Mikhayl Roussal (flute), Orest Grytsyuk (cello) and Grygoriy Grytsyuk (piano) will perform a concert at Colégio Church in Ponta Delgada at 9:30 PM.
 
The trio will perform works by some of the greatest composers from the classical period and the transition period to Romanticism.
 
On Sunday, June 19, the concert "From Harmonious Baroque to Contemporary" featuring Natália Zhylkina (violin), Nataliya Atamas Silva (piano) and Ana Carolina Constância (violin) will take place at the Main Hall of Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada.
 
The first part of this concert is dedicated to the celebration of the 275th anniversary of the death of Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, who composed 770 works: 477 concerts and 46 operas.
