The Regional Directorate for Culture (DRaC), through its External Services, will join the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of April 25 Revolution with the organisation of several initiatives.

The João José da Graça Public Library and Regional Archive will organise an exhibition on the April 25 Revolution at the Reading Room from 9 AM to 7 PM. It will be open to the public until May 3.

In turn, the Francisco Lacerda Museum on S. Jorge will promote the workshop "The day when Freedom arrived!" on April 28 and 29. Addressed at children aged between 7 and 12, this activity will be guided by Rita Braga.

The workshop will provide participants with an opportunity of knowing the context and interpreting the historical moment of the Portuguese Revolution of April 25, 1974 as well as its social and political background.
