The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Horta Museum, promotes the itinerary/workshop on "The importance of what is ours" on February 17 between 10:30 AM and 12 PM. The activity is aimed at children aged between 10 and 15.
The 90-minute initiative falls within the European Year of Cultural Heritage, marked in 2018, and intends to attract young people's attention to topics related to heritage as well as to disseminate the history of the city of Horta.
The itinerary/workshop starts from Manuel de Arriaga House, a classified property that dates back to 18th century, covering the surrounding area. It highlights several points of interest such as the São Francisco Church and Eduardo Bulcão Garden, among others.
