The Regional Government of the Azores, through the Regional Directorate for Youth, in partnership with Burra de Milho Cultural Association opens the LABJOVEM EXHIBITION organised under LABJOVEM initiative - Young Creators of the Azores 2011 Competition on the island of Faial on August 1, 2012.

The 3rd edition of LABJOVEM EXHIBITION will display the works selected by the jury on all Azorean islands through small exhibitions and activities dedicated to specific themes in order to promote the decentralisation of this exhibition and reach to wider audiences.

The fourth of nine LABJOVEM EXHIBITIONS will be open at the Horta Public Library and Regional Archive from August 1 - 10. This event will present the selected projects in the areas of Architecture, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Comics. Furthermore, the exhibition also features the presentation of a project in the area of Video and another in the area of Literature, including the launch of the book "A Besta" (The Beast) by Flávio Silva, a native of Faial. The book will be presented by Victor Rui Dores.
 
The opening and launch of the book by Flávio Silva will take place at the Horta Public Library and Regional Archive on Wednesday, August 1, at 6:30 PM.
