Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library in Angra do Heroísmo organises meeting with writer Rita Duarte
The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library and Regional Archive in Angra do Heroísmo promotes on March 7 and 8 two sessions under the initiative "Meeting with the Writer," with Rita Taborda Duarte.
On March 7, there will a session for the public in general at 6 PM, while the session scheduled for the following day at 10 AM will be directed to elementary and middle school students; both will be moderated by Sara Leal.
Rita Duarte is an award-winning poet, literary critic, university professor and a writer of children's books. In 2003, she won the Branquinho da Fonseca Expresso-Gulbenkian Prize for her book "A Verdadeira História de Alice" (The True Story of Alice).
Currently, she has several published works; many of them are included in the National Reading Plan.
