The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Pico Museum, hosts the third Diocesan Media Days on Friday, October 27.
The seminars, which will take place at the Whaling Museum, are organised by the Pastoral Media Service of the Diocese of Angra do Heroísmo in conjunction with the deanery of Pico Island and the newspaper "O Dever."
The initiative, included in the centennial celebrations of the newspaper "O Dever," owned by the Parish of Lajes, brings together journalists and academic for a jointly reflection on the theme "Building Truth in a Global World."
The goal is to analyse the social and professional responsibility of journalists working in generalist and Christian-inspired media in the construction of accurate, objective and fair information that is guided by ethical criteria.
Admission to the Diocesan Media Days is free, but requires previous registration at the email [email protected].
