The "Active Azores" project, developed by the Regional Directorate for Sport, has new rules from Saturday, November 14, following the legislative amendments adopted by the Legislative Assembly in July.
This project aims to promote physical activity for adults, reinforcing the role of each citizen in the search for an active and healthy life across throughout life.
It is primarily intended to promote the regular practice of physical activity, active lifestyles and moments of socialisation, but also health and quality of life.
The support measures provided under the new rules cover sports clubs, associations promoting sports, youth associations and other non-profit organisations that promote physical activities for adults.
The new rules, which were published in the Official Journal Friday, also determines the application requirements as well as the instructions, presentation and acceptance of applications, and even other administrative matters.
